She is one of the founder trustees of Aasmaan Foundation Trust and a facilitator for an inclusive dance group called \u201cThe Invincible\u201d.\u00a0She volunteers audio reads for persons with visual impairments. Here is the summary of our  conversation with Dhanya:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>I aspire for a Rare Disease-Free India. Each of us need to take this as a personal responsibility.<\/li><li>Life is something to be lived and not escaped.<\/li><li>At a personal level I am still the same person. I still have my struggles. I am happy when people tell me that my work is making an impact.<\/li><li>Writing is how I make myself independent.<\/li><li>I am living a life that I am content with.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Life is about living it. Stigmas are meant to be broken.<\/li><li>For me, motivation happens from within, it is DHANYA vs DHANYA.<\/li><li>My thoughts to special parents. The children need a little more help. They are not different from others.<\/li><li>Many people have influenced me. However, we need to create an identity for ourselves. We need to be responsible.<\/li><li>My parents and my mentors have helped me become the person who I am today.<\/li><li>Pandemic made us realise that we are guests here.
